Route Summary
This is an easy, mostly woodland, walk from the grounds of Pitmedden House to the pretty hamlet of Udny Green. There is historical interest along the way, and a visit to Pitmedden Garden and Museum of Farming Life is not to be missed.

(023) Pitmedden House-Tolquhon Castle Circular (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
An easy walk through farmland and woodland with little appreciable overall ascent, and on mostly good paths. The route starts and finishes at the National Trust for Scotland owned Pitmedden House & Gardens. However, the focal point of this walk is the splendid ruin of 16th Century Tolquhon Castle maintained by Historic Environment Scotland.

(008) Pitmedden House-Udny Green Circular (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
This is a very pleasant walk in a mixed rural landscape. The terrain is generally flat with no steep inclines. The route passes the tower house known as Udny Castle and the picturesque village of Udny Green. The gardens and museum at Pitmedden House are well worth a visit.
