An Optimistic Chorus …
If the volume of the birdsong is anything to go by, Spring has arrived as far as our feathered friends are concerned … 🎢🎡😊

Signs Of Spring …?
Back to easy walking on Ardhuncart Hill this afternoon. Who knows if the wintry weather has finished with us for the season but, this week, we appreciate blue skies and much milder temperatures … πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™

Warm Memories …!

Snow Gone …?
The snow has mostly gone in the village but just a mile or so away it’s still very much hanging around in sheltered places. Elsewhere the Don’s in spate, the wee burns have become rivers, and the paths are muddy obstacle courses …! 😬😁

Winter Rations …
It’s a tough time for birds and our feeders are super busy. I’m resisting photo shoots, though – their visits may be their only opportunity for food and I don’t want to risk frightening them off. I did, however, manage a quick snap of no-fear Robin and wily Yellow Hammer this afternoon ..! πŸ˜ŠπŸ’™

Variable Weather …!
The snow continues to fall and we’re not venturing far from our door right now. It was a different picture on this day last year, though – walking at old favourite, Govals Woods … 😊 #archive
