My pre-work walk this morning ended in a race against time to make it home before the thunder and lightening arrived – and the hailstones(?!?) descended. I made it by seconds.👍
My luck didn’t last for the post-work bike run, though … #drookit 😬🤣

Breaking Bad …!
Images of our weekend – ladybirds, poppy brights, misty rain, garden time ….. and a visit to A&E. Dismounting my e-bike yesterday – on a decline that didn’t look like a decline 😳 – resulted in a broken bone below my little finger and, possibly, a broken wrist. A second hospital visit this week will confirm. A rookie mistake and a lesson learned. Though it’ll be some weeks till I can get back on the bike. Ach well, it could be worse – the walks continue!

Okay, okay, the photo’s not great but we’re just so excited to have a woodpecker at our bird feeder! From the feeding pattern it’s clear he or she has chicks in the woods behind us. We’d worried the high winds last night had done for their nest but, no, they returned tonight and all’s good … 😊💙
