(184) Suie Old Military Road-Knock Saul Circuit (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
Although Knock Saul is a low-level hill, with an uncomplicated approach and ascent to the summit, it provides great views in all directions. The view over the Howe of Alford is also particularly good as you walk around the south side of the hill at a mid-level. Cleared forestry also provides the initial and final sections on the route with excellent views down the Tullynessle glen, and beyond, to the south-west.

(069) Terpersie-Manabattock-Lord Arthur’s Hill (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
A circular route to the highest of the Correen Hills where there are outstanding views, not only of the Howe of Alford and Strathdon countryside below, but also to many of the distinctive hills and mountains in the Grampian area. There are interesting historical associations.
