Route Summary
An enjoyable undulating walk along the coastline and cliffs heading west from the former fishing village of Findochty. On a clear day there are views of the faraway Caithness coast. The return leg on an old railway line is on level ground, at a higher elevation, with good views all around.

(192) Cullen-Lintmill-Crannoch Wood Circuit (Moray)

Route Summary
This is a very enjoyable circular route from the interesting and attractive Moray village of Cullen. The walk is undemanding, and provides an enjoyable combination of mixed woodland, scenic open countryside, expansive coastal views, and historical interest.

(123) Portsoy-Strathmarchin Bay Ramble (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
This is a gentle coastal walk, mostly on clear grassy paths. There are good viewpoints, walking to and from the attractive and isolated beach at Strathmarchin Bay. Returning to Portsoy we take a detour to the pretty park at Loch Soy before exploring the charming old harbour area.

(113) Findochty-Portknockie Circuit (Moray)

Route Summary
A good walk along the cliffs heading east from the former fishing village of Findochty. On a clear day there are views of the faraway Caithness coast and, at the return point on the route in Portknockie, the amazing Bow Fiddle Rock is guaranteed to make a memorable impression.

Route Summary
Although just over 9 km in length, this is an easy coastal hike with a modest overall ascent. The sheltered position on the Moray Firth will often make for tranquil conditions, and on clear days the hills of Caithness, far away in the North of Scotland, are readily identified.

(028) Portsoy-Sandend-Old King’s Road Circular (Aberdeenshire)

Route Summary
At just over our usual limit of 10 km, this is a mostly gentle walking excursion on the cliff-tops, likely to fill the lungs with fresh sea air! Although on a different scale, the harbour areas of both Portsoy and Sandend have a very attractive old-world feel about them.
